To submit a cat or dog lost or found to the GCHS website, send detailed information to our email about the lost or found animal such as name, breed, markings, where and when last seen or found and any other information you feel may help. When possible, please also send a picture.
If you have lost a pet in Gadsden County, please check with the Gadsden County Animal Control immediately. If your pet is wearing tags, the AC officers will make every effort to locate the owner. Gadsden County AC does not have an adoption program and the animals taken to their facility are euthanized if owners are not found. You can reach Gadsden County AC by calling 875-4979 but it is strongly advised that you visit the facility to identify your pet as soon as possible. Many pets are taken to the Tallahassee shelter so you may also wish to visit that facility to identify your pet.

FOUND - New Years Eve, Northwest of Havana off of Jamieson Road, so in the country but there are houses around.
He actually looks like a shepherd mix, and his face really looks like there's some Corgi thrown in (?!). Neutered, no microchip, has a choke collar, adjusted so it doesn't slide. Extremely well behaved, walks well on a leash, but does not appear to have been trained to voice commands. 50ish pound range, 3 - 6 years old, maybe. Seems to be good with cats and dogs. 7 year old female cat, tabby with Siamese. She has Blue Eyes. Tabby tail and legs , some tabby markings on face and a cream color around neck and down under belly side. back is blackish- tanish . She weights around 9 lbs. She has been spayed by the Animal Aid Spay/Neuter Clinic in Tallahassee she has their tattoo on her abdomen. She is micro chipped by Avid number is 081*106*341. She is considered high risk for surgery because of a deformity in the diaphragm. Her Vets are Lakewood Animal Hospital on Portal Drive in Tallahassee, Florida 562-5116. Found male puppy, approx. 8 weeks old and 5 1/2 lbs., no micro-chip, on Post Plant Rd. near Weldon Cir. in Gadsden County on Friday, December 30th. LOST - Gracie is a 2.5 year old short-haired, black lab-mix with a white spot on her chest between her front legs. Her two back paws and one front paw have white tips. She is wearing a red collar, and responds to "Gracie". Gracie is long and thin with brownish orange eyes. She has an exceptionally thick, but not bushy, tail.
