Amelia is very cute, sweet, perky adult female. She's active, happy and has lots of personality. In general she gets along well with cats and larger dogs; however, she does not like male dogs and might do best with a larger female only. Eager to please and easily trained. Loves to snuggle and cuddle. Does best on softer food; is fearful of metallic clicking sounds, like lighters, nail trimmers. Was picked up roaming the street and turned in to the animal shelter. She deserves a chance at a comfortable life filled with love. She's a very good house dog, but likes to race around the yard and assists her foster mom with managing the resident turkeys on the farm. She likes cats, but if they are skittish, she will test their nerves until they set the boundaries. She plays with the resident 80 lbs family dog, sharing toys and napping spots. She enjoys frequent walks and to explore.
