My name is Sasha Louise and I’m about 14 weeks old. I’m not sure what I am—maybe a terrier mix—all I know is that everyone thinks I’m really cute. I weight about 20 pounds right now, and I’d guess I’ll end up being a medium-sized dog. I had a pretty rough childhood; I was born at a garbage dump and my three brothers and I spent our first 8 weeks living under a dumpster in the freezing cold and with very little to eat. But I’m really healthy now (you should see how shiny my coat is!), and for the past 6 weeks I’ve lived indoors in a nice house with heat and lots of food. I’m really smart. I figured out everything first, then my brothers watched me and followed. I love other dogs. I’ve never seen a cat, but I imagine I’d get along with one fine, especially if the cat would play with me. At my foster home I live inside but have access to the outside through a dog door. I love to run around outside, and as long as I have access to the outdoors that is where I relieve myself. So I’m pretty much housebroken. If I can’t get outside, I’ll go on a piece of paper—so I’m paper-trained too. Of course in a new environment I could have some accidents until I figure out how things work. But while I love to play outside, I prefer to be where the action is, and if my people are indoors I’m usually with them. Please consider me for you new best friend.
